Steirische Meisterschaften in St. Peter am Ottersbach

Am Samstag, 4. Oktober, verwandelte sich die Halle in St. Peter am Ottersbach in einen Schauplatz hochklassigen Judos: Bei den Steirischen Meisterschaften U14, U18 und Allgemeine Klasse kämpften 138 Athlet*innen aus 21 Vereinen um die begehrten Landesmeistertitel.

Die Veranstaltung verlief reibungslos dank der ausgezeichneten Organisation durch den Judo Landesverband Steiermark und den SU Judoclub Eichfeld. Den 1. Platz in der Vereinswertung sicherte sich die SU Noricum Leibnitz, vor dem Judoteam Zeltweg und ASKÖ Graz.

Besonders hervorzuheben sind mehrfache Medaillengewinner*innen, die in gleich zwei Altersklassen erfolgreich waren:

• Samuel Lamm (SU Noricum Leibnitz) triumphierte ebenfalls in zwei Gewichtsklassen: Gold bis -100 kg und Gold in +100 kg.
• Sandra Schwender (SU Noricum Leibnitz) dominierte gleich doppelt – sie gewann sowohl in der U18 (-63 kg & +70 kg) als auch in der Allgemeinen Klasse (-63 kg) Gold.
• Djamil Kurbanov (Judoteam Zeltweg) holte Gold in der U18 (-60 kg) und setzte noch einen drauf mit Gold in der Allgemeinen Klasse (-60 kg).
• Yehor Myniailo (Judoteam Zeltweg) überzeugte in der Allgemeinen Klasse gleich doppelt: Gold bis -81 kg und Silber in der +100 kg-Kategorie.
